2009 Annual Report is now available on line

Disability Rights California Annual Report 2009 CoverOur 16 page illustrated annual report is now available in English (#AR2009.01) and Spanish (#AR2009.02). Summarizing main accomplishments, it includes coverage of:

  • lawsuits to stave off the worst budget cuts threatening hundreds of thousands of Californians with disabilities;
  • outreaches to underserved groups around the state
  • trainings by peer self-advocacy groups on implementing disability rights
  • examples of assistance provided in key areas such as education, regional centers, benefits, housing and intervening in response to discrimination
  • our work on the budget and with legislators on new bills

The report includes photographs of our board and staff, as well as information about our finances and funders.
