Lynne Page - I have been an attorney for many years. In private practice, I focused on research and writing, most recently relating to estate planning and trusts. I began my legal career as staff attorney in a Southern California legal aid office. In Humboldt County, I have served as attorney for Senior Legal Services, assisting elderly clients. This variety of experience has taught me that the law cannot solve all problems, but it does provide some protection to disadvantaged people, provided they have the assistance they need to make use of the legal system. When not working, I enjoy walking, gardening, and taking care of my avian companions.

David Weafer - I am an attorney and Clients’ Rights Advocate for consumers of Redwood Coast Regional Center and those applying to it. I have close connections to people who have faced discrimination and unequal treatment due to their disability, and know how much good a person can do for themselves and others when they challenge inequality and broken support systems. The law should assist your choice to live an independent and rewarding life, and we can provide the information and assistance needed for you to have the law on your side.

I graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Law and got my Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School. During this time I worked for multiple civil and human rights groups, including representing clients in need through the Civil Practice Clinic and investigating discrimination in the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights.

I have worked as a teacher and special education tutor, court assistant, legislative intern, and have been a Clients’ Rights Advocate for offices in the Tri-Counties, Los Angeles, Central Valley and Alta California regions. I am proud of the work we have done helping people in these areas access educational services, get free of Social Security debts, and exercise full and equal opportunities to choose how they live, and am glad to now be an advocate for people in the Redwood Coast.
